Job purpose
Business Development Manager for Transport is responsible for identifying and creating new business opportunities within the transportation sector. This role involves developing and implementing strategic plans to expand our company’s presence in the market, building strong relationships with key stakeholders, and achieving revenue growth targets.
Core responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and potential business opportunities within the transport industry.
- Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics to develop effective strategies.
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify new markets, services, and products that align with the company’s objectives.
- Identify and target potential clients, partners, and customers in the transportation sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the industry.
- Negotiate and close deals with clients and partners.
- Collaborate with the product development team to design transportation solutions that meet client needs.
- Customize services or products to fit specific client requirements.
- Develop and maintain a sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Prepare and present proposals, contracts, and pricing to potential clients.

Qualification
