Job purpose

Logistics Executive is responsible for managing and coordinating the flow of goods and services from
suppliers to customers. They are also responsible for monitoring and controlling all logistics-related
activities within the organization, including purchasing, inventory management, distribution, and
customer service. The Logistics Executive ensures that optimal logistics solutions are implemented
to maximize efficiency, minimize costs, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Core responsibilities

• Develop and manage the logistics process from start to finish.
• Monitor and track inventory and stock levels to ensure optimal resource allocations.
• Coordinate with other departments (e.g., sales, finance) to ensure proper execution of
orders.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and vendors.
• Manage shipping documents, customs procedures, transport, and delivery of goods in
accordance with company policies and ensure compliance with safety regulations and
quality standards.
• Analyze data to identify areas for process optimization and cost savings.
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and industry standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in logistics technology.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as logistics, supply chain management, or business
• At least 1-2 years of experience in logistics, with a proven track record of success in
logistics control.
• Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain management principles and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
Certified Professional at any level in Logistics or Supply Management is a plus.
