We added another example to our "Tailor-Made Global Solutions" portfolio with an EXW to FAS shipping operation in Thailand.
Multiple challenges were overcome in delivering this oversized cargo, thanks to our skillful experts and extensive networks.
At the factory in Rayong: We removed some door machinery at the factory entrance, making it 7.3 meters high to fit the cargo on a hydraulic trailer (together measuring 7.2 meters high).
On-road delivery: We managed to get the Department of Highways’ approval for the cargo to cross three flyovers. Our specialists also secured a smooth delivery without any waiting time by arranging a crane for lifting signboards and a team from the Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) and Telecom of Thailand (TOT) lifting cables along the route.
At the port of loading: FLS coordinated with the agent and port captain from BBC to install the transport beam on board and completed the loading alongside the vessel.
FLS team in Thailand exceeded all the requirements, especially in preserving the tank’s expensive coating.
The contract resulted in a very happy customer at Aquatec Maxcon Asia Co., Ltd.
