Handling the 34,000kg cargo transshipment
An example of how we can resolve an unexpected situation with a project-saving “Plan B”.
At FLS Group, we understand how flexibility plays an important part in moving cargo around the globe. Our recent shipment of 34,000kg cargo is an example of how we can resolve an unexpected situation with a project-saving “Plan B”.
During the cargo’s transshipment at Laem Chabang Port, Thailand, to India, it was discovered that there was no space for RORO vessels, some of which had even suspended their service to India. Our team managed to resolve the issue by finding a compatible container vessel and loading the cargo as a breakbulk. By working with the Thai Customs Department we were able to quickly receive an extension stay and ensure the operation was uninterrupted – meeting all our customer’s demands on time.
Thanks to all involved!
