Source, design (in collaboration with the original equipment manufacturer) and quote for an industrial re-packaging system in order to unpack powder material from 800 kilo FIBC into 40 kilo drums.

Across the globe, we aim to deliver high-quality, tailor-made solutions for every customer. Our FLS teams in Thailand recently reaffirmed this promise with a one-of-a-kind project.

The scope was extensive and complicated and included sourcing, designing and quoting for an Industrial Re-Packing System for toxic, explosive and hygroscopic powder material. To meet all the technical, budget and eco-friendly requirements, we worked closely with the manufacturer and local sub-contractors. Going above and beyond, the FLS Trading and FLS Warehousing teams offered value-added services that covered: delivery, customs clearance, transportation and installation at the site in a sealed-off section of our warehouse as well as 10 years of operation, including maintenance and spare parts.

We’re delighted to have been tasked with this unusual project and we’re extremely proud of all the FLS people who made it happen!
